Had no idea Logan van Beek is Sammy Guillan's grandson. ITSTL.

If the Netherlands don't win this, there'll be a few questions asked as to why Seelar only bowled 2 overs.

van Beek's bowling was pretty much as bad as you get. The only reason they lost.

Yeah, can't believe he got three overs while Seelaar only got two. He bowled pies against UAE too.

To be honest the last two nights have been more frustrating to watch than fun. I understand associate nations aren't going to be perfect at the game, but Hong Kong and Netherlands lost because of simple fundamental errors. Horrible fielding from HK and just baffling strategy up front and at the end from Netherlands. Not great viewing.

Take your pads off Taylor, you went out like 25 minutes ago.

Haha yeah I tend to agree. The skill level on display from the associates has risen exponentially but it just makes that sort of poor out-cricket even more frustrating really. If you've developed your cricket to a point where you're producing players full members would love to have then it can't be that hard to take simple catches or bowl your best bowlers for more than two overs.

Yes bizarre, Seelaar is their most economical bowler. Would be a lock for 4 overs generally.

Was the HK game played at night? I'm guessing how used are these players at playing under floodlights.

    By the way,

Peter Borren: "I thought we were probably 20 short."

I know it's just PR, but this must be one of the most abused cliches whenever a side has a bad innings. ODIs or T20s, it's always 20 runs. Amusing.
    It's the pitch, stupid.

Need to build up some NRR here. Would be so annoying winning the first two games and still having to beat Netherlands in the third game to go through.

They're probably used to bright lights, hailing from Hong Kong and all that..

Could be a nerve-wracker. We've got a really solid record against Netherlands but it wasn't a good toss to lose.

Porterfield is in such good nick. Just as well because Joyce scores so slowly.
