The best bit is at 0:27 when twirling on the spot causes two defenders to fall over beside him.

They're almost invariably awful, World Cup ads.

Honourable exception (in fact I'm not even sure it's a WC one, now I think about it) is the Nike one with Eric Cantona as the MC with all the contemporary greats playing first goal wins in what looked like a aircraft carrier. IIRC A Little Less Conversation by yer actual Pelv was the theme tune.

I think that was just a standard Nike advert iirc.

It has just made me think of the Gareth Southgate Pizza Hut advert mind you. Not a particularly fond memory, it must be said.

Nike's ones are usually good.

Their Brazil advert pre 1998 with the squad breaking into a game of football when their flight to France got delayed was pretty gun.

Prophetically, it ended with Ronaldo hitting a makeshift post.

edit: @ sledger was definitely pre WC 2002 that advert. Definitely their best.

Edgar Davids may be the coolest man ever to have pulled on a pair of soccer boots.
