So it starts today, no pressure Jess but a nation expects the Gold medal. She is under immense pressure to deliver, feel sorry for her.

GB should do quite well in Athletics, got 4 realistic gold medal contenders in Ennis, Greene and Farah x2. Idowu won't win after the injuries and I wouldn't have fancied him even without them, seems to choke on the big occasion.

Obviously everyone is waiting for Bolt on Sunday in the "highlight" of the Games.

Jess starts, only take's one bad event, and she's screwed, feel really nervous for her.

Bit of an understatement - that time would've tied gold in the 2008 final.

Val Adams is probably our only realistic chance of getting the NZ anthem to play in the main stadium. But she's a bloody good chance.
