Only 80k I think. Poms don't build big stadia. Not a sporting race, really.

Apparently afterwards it's being turned into a 20-30,000 seat specialist athletics stadium, which actually makes a lot of sense.

Seems a right oily punchable **** if his interview is anything to go by too.

On our commentary Jonathan Edwards, Denise Lewis & then Michael Johnson all felt the need to say something like "whatever you think of his past..." before discussing him.
    - As featured in The Independent.

"Predictably, the ending of his international career did not end the argument about Pietersen's merits, as an army of informed commentators and Piers Morgan weighed in to defend or attack him."

Our comms are pretty ordinary tbh. I think one is Jane Fleming. The rowing commentary has James Brayshaw and he's an appalling cheerleader. Probably our worst aside from Ray Hadley.

Our rowing has Gary Herbert. He is hilariously funny as he is so biased but just screams like you do at home.

Is there any sport Brayshaw doesn't comm on?

Johnson towers over the rest of our lot, tbh. Talks like he ran: takes no prisoners.
