For most players, yes.

But for Murray, whilst he'd prefer a Grand Slam championship, winning a gold medal in the London olympics would be freaking huge for him.

I guess it's kind of like him breaking a mental barrier, showing he can win on one of the biggest stages in the world without choking in the final.

Depends on how he lost it

Federer is more than capable of playing tennis at a higher level that Murray and there is no disgrace in losing to a better player
