It was very oidd for me to really be cheering on Murray, Robson's serve finally came good, won her last 4 points on it, after serving like an under-12 for the rest of the match.

Murray in with a shout of two medals then. Good on him, shame it means nothing

Murray and Robson in the final then. Double gold for Murray tomorrow may not make up for Wimbledon but might give him the confidence for a crack at the US Open in a few weeks.

It is nice that the final is a five setter, gives people time to recover from bad starts. A bit nervous about Federer's chances considering how much he seemed to be weighed down by nerves in the semis and how well Murray seems to be playing. And has the Djoker era ended already

Was more a blip than an era tbh.

Unbelievable how Serena just absolutely dominated Sharapova in that gold medal match.

Makes you think Sharapova might have been injured a bit and has one eye on the US Open. She was useless by her own high standards.

Serena's overall tennis record now is just amazing. Done it all.

Speaking of done it all, if Fed can get past Murray here he will also have the same. Only thing missing from his trophy cabinet is the gold medal in the singles.

Not Fed's biggest fan obviously but I can't see him being at the 2016 Olympics so this is probably his last chance of Singles gold. Would like him to win it.

Suppose if Murray can win, it won't make up for Wimbledon but it must come close.

Just broke Fed as well.

Murray will be hoping Fed doesn't turn it round like last month then. Great start.
