Put on a better showing than Evans, but think the big Eyetie has enough in the bank after the first two rounds.

EDIT: On countback; fair play son. Carped that diem in round 3!!!

Think the better boxer won. Italian just held on for the last 2 minutes, referee did nowt except let him waste time and it was still level after that dubious second round score.

Just as well he wasn't fighting a guy from Kazakhstan mind. Would have lost by 10 points.

Italian was rocking by the end. If it went to countback Joshua was a shoe-in, it was just whether he'd evened it up on points. Chuffed for the lad, he could have a big future if he wants it enough.

Italians are appealing. Would be an absolute travesty if the decision is overturned.

Proving they're no better than common Frenchmen.

I thought it was very close personally, could've gone either way. Not a robbery for sure though, and the appeal won't work.

Yaaay.

Shameless gloating over an optimistic stab-in-the-dark prediction ftw.

Excellent stuff. Can't believe the Italians appealed.
