Have to say, rowing is a quality event to watch. And the better cameras now keep the places of the boats in perspective all race long.

Absolutely, it's an awesome TV sport. Might be a bit **** to watch live, though - you wouldn't see much at all for most of the event.

Big screens all along course these days though so you don't miss much.

They don't seem to be paying much attention to where they're going. One day there'll be a massive bicycle pile-up at the top edge of the screen.

There was a Czech guy with a flag running alongside the scullers earlier, kept up for for the first half of the race, great effort.
