Great effort by the young British pair there! Good chance of a medal in the final, and they'll be even better in Rio.

Wasn't expecting that, thrown together a couple of months ago and now in the Olympic final with a medal chance, impressive.
Have to say though that your NZ pair looked fantastic though. Be great to see them destroy the field in the final as it just shouldn't happen at that level.

Pffft, was hoping for another colour but....
Impressive race. Well done to them.
Bronze for Juliette! That'll do. Really proud.
Easy in the end. On the board now and watch us go.
Gutted we missed the silver by that margin. A medal's a medal though.
Immense effort in the last 200m by Hornsey/Tait to pull a silver out of that one. Grats to Team GB, never looked like losing it.

Never has"'that's a paddlin'" been so appropriate.
Well done to the Pommie girls. Solid commonwealth trifecta that. Massive pressure release for the home team.

I have high hopes for mighty Mahe in the singles final after his solid win in the semi earlier. He deserves it after that day in Beijing.
No coincidence the Poms and Kiwis do well sitting down going backwards![]()
