Australia is becoming the biggest nation of chokers. So many chokes in recent times, it's ridiculous. Epitomised by the 'next wave' of athletes like Tomic and Magnussen who are haughty little ***** who are seemingly all talk and no game. Part of me really wants to see Magnussen bomb hard in the individual events too. Good riddance.

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

You reckon this is bad? Imagine the incredible mind **** this country will have if the only bloke who exceeds expectations in the pool is Nick D'Arcy.

Apparently there's a Harold Holt Memorial Swimming Pool in Melbourne.

    This is a great country.

Love that the Australian Olympic Committee have given D'Arcy the biggest punishment possible. Forcing him to leave the village after his events, thus denying him lots and lots of pussy.

You do realise that Magnussen is the world champion dont you?

Comparing him to Tomic is just ridiculous

The Olympics are the pinnacle for swimming. You're not gonna be taken very seriously if you can't win on the biggest stage. In any case, I don't care even if he does back up his talk with some results. Same goes for Tomic. They're both arrogant wankers and can suck it long.

That being said, Magnussen has risen from $1.35 to $1.9 to win the 100m freestyle.

    Surely that is value?

WR counts if you swim the first leg.

Not about him tho, obviously. :
