Pretty devastating.And it must be hard to get over that disappointment and lift again to play for the bronze. Hope they can do it.
Either way, though, really proud of their Olympic campaign. Awesome.

Yeah, the Brits will be absolutely desperate to get something in front of their home crowd, so it'll be really difficult for the girls. Still even if they don't win anything its been a brilliant effort, one they have every right to be proud of.Originally Posted by _Ed_

Absolutely. NZ teams (both men and women) in the past have got to crunch games before and choked, suddenly playing a shocker after they had been in good form. That certainly wasn't the case yesterday, we played brilliantly, and could have won with a bit more luck.
Really hope we take the bronze, though it will be so hard for them to get up for it. Will be devastating if we go home with nothing.
Aussies blew it then after being in front, hope we win or no medal for us.

Not looking good. We look tired, making a lot of basic mistakes. Charlotte Harrison being terrible isn't helping either. Don't know what happened to her, she used to be good.

Gutting. We were second to every loose ball today, and on attack just weren't getting the players forward in the way we have all tournament. Played nowhere near our best.
GB were better today, but my god the BBC commentators were ****ing me off.
