Think Germany for us in the semis may be tough tbh.

Hockeyroos finished right where their ranking suggested they should. Lacked any sort of goal scoring ability it seems these days.

Looked wide open in the womens and you had the tougher group anyway by the looks of it. GB may well have failed to qualify if we had swapped groups with you lot.

GB through to the semis courtesy of a 1-1 draw with Spain.

Meanwhile, we're up 4-2 at halftime against Germany. Frustrating that it's taken us until our last game to play the way we can, though it could be argued that Germany aren't particularly fussed seeing as they've already qualified.

And we bomb a 5-2 lead to draw 5-5. FFS. Last German goal was bs though, was clear obstruction on our defender. But even then we had a simple chance to snatch it at the end, but missed twice.

Whoa! Glynn back on the pitch - she had a pretty horrible head injury only about 20 min ago. Amazing to see her come back on.

Was a rubbish decision on the Dutch equaliser - their attacker took an air swing, therefore it's dangerous play.

Come on NZ!!

Extra time then. Our PCs have been poor today (except the first one, obviously), haven't looked particularly dangerous from them.

Please win.

Brilliant defence - thought we were stuffed when Flynn got yellow carded. Down to penalties now, and it's the new format of dribbling from the 25. Have to back the Dutch here unfortunately, their skills are superb.

Noooooooo. Was always on the cards sadly, Dutch had a huge advantage there, for a start they play those penalties in the Euro League so they've had practice at it.

Michelsen was the only one of ours I was confident about tbh, she has amazing skills. Would have backed Sharland too, but unfortunately she made a meal of it.

Dutch the better team, but still feel a bit robbed - their second goal was horse****.
