One of these 2 bats need to put it all on the line now. Both are great support players, but one of them has to become the man. If Windies score 10 an over from here, they'll get to 142, which was enough for the Aussie girls earlier.

A bit farfetched but you'd be pretty disappointed with this strike rate in a Test match if these were the conditions.

Meant run rate, course.

They don't even look like getting 100 at the moment. Something has to change dramatically for this to even be a contest of any sort.

Deadset, this is more one-sided than Thor on a seal clubbing trip.

4-1-11-1 You'd take that from your 5th bowler.

Yeah I know. Someone like a Pollard, Sammy, Russell just need to make a quick fire score at two runs per ball. Ideally, one of these two would retire hurt and one of those 3 guys mentioned would come in.

I just feel these 2 are similar in the fact that they are excellent support batsman.

Big turn here. You can't help feeling that West Indies have missed their time to attack against the seamers.

Was incredible from Mathews tbh. You'd have imagined he would be going for around 40 against this line up.

Sublime start from the 18 year old. Didn't just rely on his variation there either, some genuinely clever off break bowling.

You make a good point actually. Maybe someone like Russell should have been promoted with licence.

I reckon Australia would consider playing Jeevan Mendis in Tests as a specialist bowler if he was eligible and yet he doesn't even play as a frontline bowler for his domestic side in Sri Lanka.

Allthough Australia did that with their own batsmen who bowled leg spin anyway, so I guess it's not that weird an observation.

For the first time in the innings, West Indies run rate hits 4 an over.
