That has to be the most excited everyone has ever gotten about a 30-run loss.

Given India and Pakistan were pretty even by NRR, India will have to win by only slightly bigger margin than Pakistan did. So a win by about 34-35 runs is what we need. Probably batting first is good idea today. Can't be certain of that kind of margin of victory if you bat second.

So what needs to happen now for India to qualify? Guessing Pak's NRR is through the roof after the win.

Cricbuzz says 31 runs or by 24 balls, although the balls remaining will depend on how many South Africa score and how many India pass the target by. The higher the target the longer (marginally) India can take to chase them down.

So anyway much easier for India to get their required margin by bowling first and chasing it down with overs to spare.

India put into bat, going to be tough for them to gauge what sort of total they'll need.

They haven't had much success batting first and Chappelli thought that the team winning the toss would want to bat second because of the way the pitch tends to play later on.
