SA only one warmup game. New strategy - be really crappy up front.

I think its to do with the inclusion of SL A in one of the warm up games seems a bit daft really.

^ You mean Afghanistan? Presumably, a SL A game will help the box office.

Also, some formal acknowledgement (from whomever), that SA is too strong to beat. This way the choker tag can finally be applied legally when they bow out.

Zimbabwe have been owned by Ireland.

Amazing bowling figures for Cusack: 3 overs, 6 runs, 3 wickets. Top batting from the O'Briens. They'll be fun to watch when the competition proper gets underway.

And on a similar note...

WI have been owned by SL.

Dilshan and Jayawardene carving them up.

Pathan with a 5-fer! Also lol at the 5 wickets in the last 7 balls

Afghanistan racked up a pretty big total as well, beating SL A by ~50 runs. They benched Hamid Hassan though which is a pity since he probably needs match practice.

Once again more evidence for my theory that New Zealand, on the first day of any tour or series, are absoutely woeful, hence the first test performance against India.

Broad showing the benefit of playing no competitive cricket at all in the four weeks leading up to the tournament.
