Suppose the final is rained out...

What would happen?

So far we've seen a few games effected by the weather and it raises the point, what would happen in the case of the final ending in a No Result?

I would have to assume it would be possibly which team has won the most games (in which case England would beat Pakistan and Australia would beat England), which would be pretty lame but what other way would there be of deciding a champion?

what if Pak wins against Aus? Wouldn't it be fluke win for Eng LOL if it rained in the final....just kidding if anything, Eng rightly deserves the WC in this situation...

Don't they normally have a reserve day in place for finals of International tournaments? It's supposed to be sunny in Barbados atm though, which is where the final is being held, so I don't think there's too much chance of it being rained out.

You want to do everything possible to ensure a final takes place but if it is not possible then record in the tournament up until then seems the fairest way to decide it.
