Hmmm a Yorkshi*eman bowling full tosses. I'm sure there's an appropriate word for such a person.

Napier has a pretty horrific T20 batting record bar one, albeit remarkable, innings.
Dimi's a fair shout though. Edit : Just looked at Bres's actual record. WTF, assumed he had actually experienced some success with the bat at some level in T20s. Apparently not. Last edited by Marcuss; 16-05-2010 at 10:49 AM. |

Hardly a prerequisite when Yardy & Swann are in the side. That ebing said, Bres has been OK for most of the tourny.
Can't see why Wright was taken off after one over - captaincy by numbers afaics. Surely would have made more sense to give him another. |

I just don't like the way Bresnan looks so unco-ordinated when he approaches the crease. Seems to be all over the place, running in all different angles with no real speed across the ground in his run-up. Seems to work ok for him, but it doesn't look pretty.
Broad getting slapped around a little. Doesn't seem to have a tactic at all. Why don't England ever stick to just bowling conventional yorkers? There's a reason that 90% of death bowlers don't bang it in half way down at the death, it doesn't work. Liking the calls of Napier. Best T20 bowler available to us outside Fred. Not much worse with the bat than Bresnan either, just move Yardy to 7 and have Napes at 8.
