Athlai doesn't lie. And he doesn't do sarcasm either, so you know it's true!

Now that India is out the BCCI has already forgotten this "world cup" and is probably dreaming up new "world cup" style tournaments they cram in the next few weeks.

Shame. Could have been a real shot in the arm for English cricket.
BCCI? You mean the ICC?

No, it's obviously the BCCI's fault. While we're at it, let's condemn the BCCI for asking Australia to play tests too. There's test cricket on every couple of months ffs, really lowers the value of the games. Everyone should just stop playing Cricket, then we can have one Ashes series every five years, and one World Cup every 10 years. It will be like in the old days, and will really be a shot in the arm for Cricket popularity.

Oh, and scrap the annual FA Cups, Champions' Leagues, World Series', Stanley Cups etc. Nobody even cares about winning those anymore.

Need some warfare like the old days for that. Get a few first class cricketers drafted, that'll toughen them up.

^ Don't know man, even if it was raining how good is the pitch it self for Asif. Not a huge swing bowler he needs juice on the pitch for nipping the ball....

Toss is being delayed by rain

What happens if this match is called off due to rain?

Edit: Apparently in the case of a NR, Australia would go through to the final.

Starting in 15 minutes by the looks. Really keen to see a full game. Surely there's something in it due to the rain for Clarke to win and put Afridi's boys in.
