I'll bring this thread back on topic by sticking my neck out.

India will not lose to the West Indies tonight. Just think there's enough quality in there to get over the line and keep themselves alive.

And like a douchebag, I will be putting money on it if I can get odds of $1.8 or better.

How about a Gayle storm coming India's way?

Could be a cracker. Backing India but if Roach and Taylor are on their games and the wicket plays like it did on Friday it could be interesting.

Jeez. We're getting Glos v Essex in the Pro40 up here during the delay.

Pretty bloody turgid stuff after the T20; Essex 33/2 off ten. Ball seaming miles.

This is stupid scheduling!

Why are the West Indies playing the first match of the double-header? This is the Caribbean, and most fans there would be interested in seeing this match. So, common sense dictates that this match should be second....

And India keep the same XI. And they refuse to learn.

Fletchers keeping cost us a good 30 runs or so. It's really annoying, why can't somebody just do his job behind the stumps and punish Ramdin for his slackness? At this rate Ramdin and his average of 20 will be wicket keeper for life!

Also Sri Lanka played unbelievably well IMHO, Malinga was sensational with the ball, the fielding was solid and Sanga and Mahela punished the West Indies for their generousity in the early exchanges. If they play like that they are in with a shout of winning it.
Good to see Fletcher has been replaced by Ramdin for this match....

Its late evening in India...
Whatever keeps India happy is when the games are scheduled.

I have to ask- is Harbhajan the right choice for T20? Looking at his overall T20 stats, he's played more matches than he has taken wickets. He's tried to stifle the batsmen as against slice through batting sides. His economy isn't too bad, but the lack of wickets is a huge downside, as a specialist bowler- in contrast to the likes of Mendis, Murali, Tait, Nannes or even Afridi. Mishra's a far better option, as also Ashwin and that bloke Jakati from Goa/CSK.
