Not a hard group. I can see SA making it easily. Pakistan and England should be relatively easy to dispatch, New Zealand is going to tough since they appear to be in good form. My prediction- SA and NZ go to the semifinal.

How does this work? Do teams carry points thru to the next round? Or is it a clean slate?

Today, Pakistan play England in the opening match of the double-header....

Jesus Christ. James Anderson still not been picked. What on earth do they see in Sidebottom? Expect him to get slapped around bowling the wrong lengths again. We finally pick a decent squad, but still can't pick the right team. So frustrating.

Charles Colville just called Asif "a quicker, bouncier bowler in comparison to Sami" =/ WTF? There is no way on earth Asif bowls quicker than Sami. Bring back Ian Ward.

1 good delivery in the over, 2 that just asked to be spanked (short ball at his pace is always getting put away), and were. 11 off the over, Sidebottom's a liability. Bring back Jimmeh.

This is laughable bowling from England. Bresnan, Broad and Sidebottom has to be one of the worst seam bowling attacks left in the competition. Dire.
