Group E (Super 8) - Pakistan, South Africa, New Zealand, England

King Pietersen

International Captain
Very smart move. Lumb isn't great against spin, and was defeated by the quicker delivery from Botha. Excellent bowling.

Great planning that, Lumb and Kieswetter are both dodgy against spin and it makes sense to throw it up against them first up. And well executed by Botha.

Kieswetter's better against spin than Lumb. Scored a century in his 3rd ODi against a spin-heavy Bangladesh attack that bowled decently.

Shot Kieswetter. Not great foot movement but got his hands through it nicely.

KP's back. 2nd delivery smacks Steyn through mid-on for 4. Glorious start. Definitely looks to have regained his form.

That was some shot from KP. Dunno even how to describe it. Pulled it through the covers on one leg. Amazing eye.

Indeed. It's the sort of shot he was playing when he first came onto the scene in 05/06, but he's put those sorts of shots away in recent times. He looks in magnificent form today; just hope Jessica doesn't go into labour till the end of the tournament. If Pietersen continues to play like this we've got a chance in this tournament.

Kieswetter gone off a no ball. Not looking comfortable against the bounce of Morkel

Bloody hell. Right between keeper and slip.

Riding our luck a tad.

EDIT: Jesus, if looks could kill Kallis would be doing 20 years. Not pleased with Boucher, it's fair to say.

Perhaps so, though Kieswetter has a dodgy technique against both pace and spin.
