Are the crowds not higher than in 2007 (the 50 over version in the Carribean)?

Should hopefully make for some good watching.
Felt like it at the time, tbh. Thought we'd qualified by beating them & Sri Lanka, especially with them playing the unbeaten yarps (captained by Hansie, one feels obliged to point out) in the last game. Admittedly we were walloped by India, but was a fair turn up them beating SA by enough to advance.

Are we wearing out the pride of a 'World Cup'?

Because I'm just bored of watching all these world cups, they will just get less prestigious if you keep having one every couple months...BoomBoom, there goes all the fans, all the scores suck, Pitches are dead within a few days, and teh dancers just don't dance.

Only two decent games have involved NZ, so it's obvious what the tournament needs: Black Caps to play every game.

I've enjoyed the games in Barbados, pitch is spot on for good T20 cricket.

+1

Love a bit of pace and bounce.
Surest way for this particular England team to get a spanking, but hey

Last ODI world cup wins this title by the length of the straight. It was soul-destroyingly awful with everything from the shambles of an investigation surrounding Bob Woolmer's death to the farce that was the end of the final.

Besides people in the Caribbean actually WORK so morning games during weekdays aren't going to be full. You'll get larger crowds on the wekend especially Sundays after church. But hey, just complain why don't you?
Well said....

It's nice to see pitches were bowlers have the edge for a change, and we're not seeing mediocre batsmen thrashing the ball to all parts on dead batting tracks.

This St Lucia stadium is way too big. They need to bring the boundaries in so we can see more sixes. The stadium in Christchurch, NZ is the ideal size for T20. What's the point of T20 with so few sixes?
