NZ having a wee choke here. Taylor goes now. 50 off 34 needed.

A "wee choke"? They have handed this game to SL. Murali was bowling ok but nothing that dangerous. Very poor batting bar Ryder and some nice strokes from Guptill, however once again he didn't go on with it. Looks good but produces not so much.

Game gone now you would think.

They'll be kicking themselves - or not seeing as they do this almost every single time.

Or not. That's more like it for the Black Caps; consecutive Dorothys from Oram. 15 off the over.

Why was Vettori in ahead of him?

17.1 Malinga to Vettori, no run, What is Sangakkara appealing for? Full outside off, he tries to steer that past point, the ball bounces after it misses the bat and gets to Sanga who goes up

????

Because Vettori is a world class performer and steps up more often than not. Oram got lucky with those 6's. Let's see if he can do it off a quick bowler.

Welly back on for his 2nd over in the 19th. & castles Vettori first up. Huge call that might've paid off.

EDIT: 'twas Oram.

Hopkins run out off his first ball going for the 2nd run. Is that a "golden single"?
