Well, Fabregas misses, but at least he's making some forward runs, unlike the rest of the Spanish mid-fielders in this interminable match.

Fantastic to see Robben miss a no-brainer. Good player but a dead ****.
Honestly, NZ-Aus WC warm up was better than this shower. ****ing horrendous. Edit: fmd Iniesta, honestly, 11 yards out, one defender, pull the trigger you stupid ****. Who is he going to pass it to in a better spot than that? WAC.

Did you just watch the first 2 rounds of group games and come back for the final or something?

Not so outrageous, tbh. Probably rate this above 90 & 94, but been the worst for some time. Been some great games, 2nd round and quarters especially, but overall standard hasn't been that high IMHO.

Nope, skill players have not been evident, great goals in scarce supply, and few good teams. Blame the ball a lot though, can't be controlled when it's coming at you pacily, which negates skill, all in my opinion, of course.

It's a complete mystery to me why Fabregas doesn't start. Busquets doesn't really ever seem to do anything other than pass sideways/to the opposition and foul people.

Actually, for balance should say the extra-time has been alright, think Spain will nick it with Cesc.
Actually takes the final past 90 probably. I quite liked the 94 World Cup, even the final, silky skills throughout. |

Am I correct in saying this game is nil-nil due to missed chances and not because of great defense?
