'Mon Ghana. The South American love-in even more tiresome than the whole "Africa United" schtick.

Do not really mind who wins this, feel like I should support Ghana and I have seen them live.

However Clive Tyldesley's dire introduction is making me want to support Uruguay and Forlan and Suarez are great.

Uruguay are like Italy-lite. That ire-inducing combination of cynical fouls and theatrical dives with imploring appeals to the ref.

He's the Baggio/Zola/Totti token diamond-in-a-slagheap exception.

Where Italy went wrong this time, tbh. Missing that one player to leaven their inherent cowardly defensiveness.

Ghana aren't exactly innocent in terms of time wasting and diving either tbh...

Keeper totally wrong footed. Fair ping and did move through the air, but you'd be gutted to concede from there.

Did that have anything to do with the ball/altitude?
