EDIT - unless you want 32 in total and have 8 seeds, you know like the real thing.

Nah, want 48 as minimum now. Too many legends missing out to start just yet.

No seeding either; all random.

In case anyone is wondering why I nominated Saeed al-Owairan, this would be why:

YouTube - World Cup '94 -- Al Owairan -- Saudi Arabia vs Belgium

Remember that goal clearly.

Will also nominate Paul Gascoigne for the tears in 1990.

I'll also nominate Jose Batista of Uruguay for being sent off within a minute of taking to the field in (I think) 1986. Classic. (#8 in this youtube countdown - YouTube - 10 maiores curiosidades da Copa do Mundo)

Finally, Sergio Goychochea (sic.) for all those saved penalties. Don't remember the year.

I'll nominate Ronaldinho- was no one watching in 2002?
