Hmm Brazil v Portugal getting pretty nasty. 7 bookings in the first half and pretty much all justified.

Very dirty match, Melo lucky not to get a red, also the handball was pretty poor form as well.

Anyone else take great delight in seeing Pepe nailed? Can't see the match ending with 22 players on the field though, seems a lot of bad blood between the two.

Seven yellow cards, incredible.

IMO the handball should have been a red card.

Lets hope the ref refrained on principle due to all the Portugese waving their imaginery cards at him.

Come on you Ivory Coast. And Brazil, of course.

I'm no fan of the Portugal play-acting, but if I was a Portugal fan I would feel pretty bloody cheated if a defender stuck his arm up (as last line of defence) and blocked the arial through ball.

Sure.

But for the rest of us, it's Portugal, it's Quiroz (sp?),it's Ronaldo and so we just enjoy the moment.

Only watched the first half but Ronaldo has to be the most selfish player I've ever seen - couple of his attempted shots from fully 40 yards plus in open play were simply ludicrous

Also, the Brazilian who hand-balled should've gone as should the Portugese who stamped on his opponent from behind

And what was it with Tiago (?) who spurned a good shooting position to swan dive - farcical

Easily mistaken for the Scots

fwiw the team that put 7 past Scotland was Uruguay, 20 years earlier. Can't recall how many came in the 2nd half though.
