Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. This is where the tournie kicks off tbh. C'mon Côte d'Ivoire, it's Eboue time.

These Ivorians are a ridiculouslty talented list imo, in all areas apart from keeper but they haven't done jack as a team. Interesting to see what Sven does because you'd think this tournie is now or never for them?

Like I said in the NZ thread, the NZ result plus Ronaldo making an even more embarassing fool of himself than he normally does would kick this day beyond the ' Bloody Perfect' marker.

Oh, and Portugal were pants in qualifying, so high hopes here of them stuffing up. Too bad Ivory Coast have a sex-with-your-socks-on Swede as their coach, so they might well be pants too.

Their performance in the ACN against Algeria in extra time was pathetic, they completely chucked it once Algeria took the lead.

Outrageous dive there from Ronaldo to get someone booked.

Follows that up with an even more outrageous shot from distance. That was a heck of an effort.

This game is by far the most enjoyable for mine. No goals yet, but the football has been solid. Not sure who I want to win... Really want both to go through.
