Presumably by not copying England...
Or France

Dire. Still, when you've got absolute jokes like Carragher and SWP on the pitch it's hardly surprising. Mind you, Carragher was lucky to still be on field by the time he was skinned for that near-goal.

England's actual performance, ironically, considerably better than a few of the recent friendlies where they've ground out wins. USA even more dire, but their keeper wasn't auditioning for the comedy club.

Would still back England to top the group, and as Vimes has said, their draw is a pretty easy one through to the semis. Or, it would be if they weren't going to get eliminated by Australia in the last 16.

Suck it:

You lot should just give up now. You can't even win at a sport you care about.

Him and Terry in defence for the rest of the campaign would be a disaster.

Well that was no real surprise, thought England would get a narrow win and could have easily done so.

Typical England performance.

I'll be honest, I enjoyed seeing england draw against usa more than when they beat paraguay 1-0 in their first game of the last world cup in 2006. It was much more entertaining and I suppose that's why we love watching football, and sport in general.

Edu would've won that game for the US.

Backing Boogy to score an epic solo goal next up.

Be afraid England.

Be very afraid.

Showing infinitely more football knowledge than certain other colonials, anyway.

England were awful, yeah. It's just that the US were so much worse...
