Require 1 run of the last over
so Australia Out of the tournament
so Group E is completed
India, South Africa, England & Westindies
Group F consists of Ireland, newzealand & srilanka
now final position 'll be decided tomorrow
One 'll go through Netherlands or Pakistan

Well done to the Lankans! I didn't expect the Aussies to win it all, but still find it shocking to see them ousted in the first round.

I'm not sure that including minnow teams against the likes of West Indies and Sri Lanka serves any real purpose. It's not going to help them develop and it doesn't make for a particularly watchable contest.

Some top denial from Punter there. "Don't know why we've lost". Team selection, batting and bowling would cover it.

A few Nottingham landlords would be several quid richer, certainly.
