The Warm-Ups...

Athlai

Not Terrible
Abdulla would work, but then you'd be buggered when the great collapse happens. Though Smith,Gibbs,AB,JP,Boucher,Albie are still formidable is it enough?

Drop Kallis down the order to float in case of early wicket loss or replace him with a bowler for the gamble. Isn't like van der Merwe, Botha and even Parnell can't hit a ball.

South Africa have too much batting. Kallis or Gibbs need to make way.
I get the impression Arthur & Smith are backing SA batting againts any bowling attack. Plus trusting Kallis's bowling, which at the back end of the IPL with the new ball was pretty good.

New Zealand seem to be playing for a win, while the Indians are just going through the motions here. With only three batsmen, and conceding 170 despite having eight bowlers in the team, they seem careless here. Compare that with a proper team selection by NZ, who have done rather well so far.

India have 13 (11 bat/field) players, NZ 12. And it's a warm up.

NOW: Has Rohit Sharma thrown away the match? Plays a defensive shot against Vettori and is out bowled.

Nope, Suresh Raina > Rohit Sharma. There's still more than enough batting to come as well, Yusuf Pathan in next, he's proven that he's a match winner. Can see India winning this one still.

Whatever it takes!!!
Dhoni has GOT TO stop coming in at 3 when you already have Raina in great form to play there... He has got to get it out of his head that he cannot come in and start hitting straight away.

And Ravindra Jadeja is not a natural stroke maker... It is difficult for him to play the big shots... He is very talented, so they may come off every now and then but it is not natural for him and there are others who are better at it than him. I would rather see him play ODIs and Tests before T20s... Looks like the #5 India may need in ODIs...

New Zealand has always been a team who does its home work better than India and today.. it did pay off for the Vettori's men

As long as New Zealand keep winning the warm ups and not the big tournaments, it's all good.
