    The Bangladesh Thread

    Might As well Start it

In 2007 they even made this format confusing, After Getting it right vs the Windies. They Decided to play Hong Kong Sixes (RR of 15 in the 1st 4 overs) and Test Cricket (Kapali scoring 14 of 35) vs South Africa at the same time. After that Match they just made a mess of the entire tournament trying to figure out what approach to take.

Warm Ups with Sri Lanka and Australia

    Grouped with India and Ireland,

    Squad Trimmed Down to 21

Bangladesh Squad: Mohammad Ashraful, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Tamim Iqbal, Zunaed Siddique, Roqibul Hassan, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Naeem Islam, Abdur Razzak, Shahadat Hossain, Syed Rasel, Mehrab Hossain Jr., Imrul Kayes, Mahmud Ullah, Nazmul Hossain, Mahbubul Alam, Rubel Hossain, Ziaur Rahman, Shamsur Rahman, Mohammad Sohrawardy and Mohammad Mithun.
Preparations: Theres a PCL T20 tournament that is going to Start in May, IPL Style bid for the National Team players Aside from Ashraful and Mashrafe.

    For Info on the PCL

A Few Warm Up Matches in May

Bangladesh national squad will play the first three warm-up matches against second string Bangladesh A team-two matches on May 13 and the other on May 15. The Tigers will play the remaining three matches against India's Maharashtra Cricket Association team on May 17, 18 and 19 respectively.
I Hope Ashraful and Mashrafe are working Hard in the Nets and getting tips, since it looks like they won't get in a Match anytime soon.

There is a few guys are like watching from Bangladesh, Tamin Iqbal is one. He is a pretty good player for such a young guy. I will be interested to see how Shakib goes, since he wasn't wanted in the IPL.

Replace Rahim with Mithun and Raqibul with the Naeem and that'll be the best XI

Will play a warm-up against the Dutch as well, May 28 @ Canterbury IIRC.
President of RTDAS - Ryan ten Doeschate - The Freddie Flintoff of Associate Cricket
Member of DNAS, ESAS - Dirk Nannes, Edgar Schiferli. Dutchmen can bowl.

Will be fun, should get a good test vs RTD and Nannes.

    Here are the PCL Stats

    Cricket Archive

Shakib played his 1st Match the other day in few months recovering from Groin Injury, took 3 wickets, (Did Not Bat) and led the weak Senior Side to there 1st Victory over Bangladesh A, Bangladesh A won the other 2 matches.

Tamim is contuning his good from

Syed Rasel has recovered from Injury and has been potent with the new ball in the PCL and the Warm Up Matches.

Should get a much better sense of the Team when Ashraful, Mashrafe and Shakib are in.
