Twenty20 World Cup predictions

They are up against England and Pakistan, probably the two least consistent sides among the eight proper cricket nations. So I actually think they have a chance of progressing by taking a shock win against either of the two.

For that to happen, though, both Nannes and RTD need to be on top of their game and the rest need be considerably less ****e than they are sometimes capable of (witness the UAE loss on Saturday).

But yeah, I'm going to Lord's on June 9 to watch the Pakistan match and I'm not going there expecting a humiliating rout at all.

South Africa choke in yet another tournament.

Sri Lanka has a shock win in the semi finals against India.

Australia lose as well in the semi finals against West Indies

Shane Watson goes to the world cup but eventually gets injured after a freak Akhtar attack.

Andrew Symonds has a beer with Freddie and Jesse Ryder.

That is all for now.

Oh and Bangladesh don't win.

There will be many, many sixes hit, prompting people to say the players who hit them should be in Test teams, even if they're mud at FC level.

Afridi 'll bat well this time
Malinga & Gul 'll take lots lots of wickets
murali going for 4 sixers in a over
Pietersen scoring a fifty
Yuvraj 'll not score more than 100 runs in the tournament
Raina scoring good runs
India 'll not even reach semi's this time
england 'll nearly miss out on semi final chances

Imagine that, instead of Ind, Eng, Aus, Sa, it could be Ind, Ned, WI, SA. Qualitywise that looks a lot more equal to group F :)
