    That I love the World Cup. It is great.

    I'm dreading the point when the quarters finish, because then you have days with no matches for the first time and it's horrible

    Last night I was talking about the England-Pakistan Test with one of the lads I'm going with and I was really looking forwards to it. But it dawned on me that I can't look forwards to it, because the World Cup will be over!

    The good thing is, Tranmere's pre-season friendlies start when the World Cup finishes. World Cup years are great because you get 12 months of football, although I suspect they have a higher divorce and break-up rate than other years.
