Nepotism is probably clouding my judgement but I fancy Serbia and Argentina but as everyone has already said it is going to be tough, any of these teams could realistically beat one and another.

Argentina to choke once again, serves them right on leaving out Javier Zanetti and Walter Samuel, and I have reservations about Leo Messi considering how long he has been out injured for.

I think Cote d'Ivoire have a good squad and I would fancy them going through. Serbia to come 4th though, although hoping Stankovic and Kezman do well.

1. Argentina
2. Holland
3. Serbia & Montenegro
4. Cote d'Ivoire

I can definitely seeing Argentina bumming out, also S&M are massively underrated IMO - top defence, as seen in the qualifiers.

Even more surreal when you think Scaloni has made the squad. Even the most commited Iron would concede he's a tad plop.

I'm now backing Serbia in this group, I've drawn them in the school's World Cup Xbox comp today.

Being realistic, one would have to say t hat the Argentines and the Dutch will go through to the second round.......any other way would be harsh on both great footballing nations.'
