I think the 4-5-1 is more a flat 4 with 1 off the striker though now, not 3 in the middle and 2 pushing on wide.

It works in 7 a side. Our tactics were basically let everyone know roughly what position they were playing, but for the most part it was all about getting back if needed, being able to mark, and adding support to the attack.

But with the amount of space in 11 a side you can't do that as effectively.....

Vegetable always gives the nod to the 'big club' player whenever possible and virtually ignores whether a player is used to playing in a certain position or not.

TBH Carrick looked terrible against Belarus. Maybe that had something to do with it and Sven's just trying something different like with Ledley King.

Over twice as many (thirteen to five) as the rest of London in fact, although that could soon change dramatically unless Uncle Roman gets bored/arrested/assassinated....
