Well if your going Sydney to Brisbane your going Nowhere near Mt Panorama.

Bathurst is about 2-2.5 hours drive west of Sydney. Not much else to do out there but, trust me i lived in Orange (40 k's from Bathurst) for 20 years. Some good cool climate wines about, but not much else.
