Scoop shot - Something like using a spoon to scrape out ice-cream, except there’s nothing scrumptious about this stroke.
Slog-sweep - To get down on your hands and knees and laboriously mop the deck. Or, in Steve Waugh’s case, to get down on one knee and swipe the ball clear of the fence.
Doosra - Not to be confused with the googly, it is the off-break bowlers version of going the ‘ other way ‘, delivered not without a great deal of contortion and arm twisting.
