I dont think I was talking abour Existentialism. I knew the meaning of Empiricism. Also, I think I confused Locke, he was an empiricist, who tried to find universal rules (Empirical formulas) from observation. And the other movement (actually school of thoguht might be a better word as I dont think it was a movement), was originated by Descartes, who did not want to find the 'truth' from observation as he thought this universe could be an illusion, a dream created by someone, and hence the 'I think therefore I am". Maybe they were called "Idealists", or maybe they werent called anything, and Im just wasting everyone's time

But I would try to look it up somewhere.
