Hopefully he can really regain his pace in the next three years before it is too late. An all rounder who can hit quick runs is critical to twenty20 so he should at least make the squad. Virendar Sehwag has a tremendous bowling record in twenty20s and obviously can score quick runs at the top of the order.
Uthappa, Tendulkar, Sehwag, Yuvraj, Gambhir, Dhoni, Ganguly and Pathan can all hit quick runs too and hopefully at least three can fire in one match.
