They added one on to replace the one that was washed out - leaving 6 matches actually played, that wash out also resulted in the first ever ODI being played. It should also be noted that the asterix next to Boycott as scoring the runs in more than 5 Tests is not true in that he only played in 5 of the 6 matches that took place because he broke his arm before the Final Test.
