Flintoff may be back for ODIs

England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff is expected to make his international comeback for England in the upcoming one-day series against India.

Flintoff, recovering from ankle surgery that ruled him out for the series against the West Indies and the Tests against India, played as a batsman for county side Lancashire this week and has begun bowling in the nets as well.

“He’s started to bowl in nets and there’s nothing that I’ve heard to the contrary that would prevent him from playing in the one-dayers towards the back end of the month. Hopefully he will available for that, and he has certainly indicated that will be the case,” head selector David Graveney told the BBC.

England take on India for a seven match one-day series starting on August 21st at Southampton.
