England home schedule announced

England’s 2008 home international schedule has been announced today with Test series against both South Africa and New Zealand planned.

The action kicks off at Lord’s on May 15th when England take on the Black Caps for the first Test. Hostilities resume for the second Test at Old Trafford on the 23rd followed by the final Test at Trent Bridge on the 5th of June. One Twenty20 International and a five match ODI series will follow throughout the month of June.

Just two weeks after the final ODI against the Kiwis and England will go head to head against South Africa for a four match Test series and five match ODI tournament that will conclude in early September. Lord’s, Headingley, Edgbaston and The Oval will each host a Test and an ODI with Cardiff hosting the final limited overs match of the tour.
