Elbow Surgery for Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar under-went surgery on his left elbow in London last Monday to help correct a condition affecting his extensor tendons.

The operation was a complete success with no complications but it is likely to keep him out of cricket for approximately 16 weeks.

This means Tendulkar will definitely miss India’s tour of Sri Lanka in August and also could possibly miss the tour of Zimbabwe in September. The bright side is that he should be fit to play the Australians in October.
