Bowling is a artform and you will have fun experimenting to find your own special moves to bowl out the batsman or at least coax him to hit in a certain driection etc.. You as the bowler have 3 types of bowling styles each with there own advantages/disadvantages, all motions of the ball you have control of via the Left/Right arrow keys: selecting F1 Key (SPIN) : You can direct the ball one-way and then if chosen spin it back the otherway off the bounce towards the wickets. selecting F2 Key (FAST) : A faster travelling ball may be the key in fooling the batsman, but with its speed you'll have less time for control. selecting F3 Key (SWING) : Ball swings out in a curve way, rapidly swinging in towards wickets, you have control of how long you hold it out for before swinging it in, as bowler begins his throwing action you determine which way the ball swings by holding down either the Left/Right arrow key. Control of the bowler is via arrow keys you control him at his start position and through his runup by using the Left/Right arrow keys, you have the choice too runup behind the wickets or too the sides, if you choose to the sides, then you have control of whereabouts within the box you wish the bowler to begin his bowl action, press the action button (Right Ctrl key) at any time within the box for fine timing of his bowl, this gives you the bowler the chance to outtime the batsman swing. The moment the ball is struck by the bat or the ball goes behind the wicket keeper, you will have control of the nearest fielder too the ball, too pick up the ball simply position your fielder where the ball is and he will pick it up, you then can run with the ball and throw it towards any of the 2 stumps in order to get the batsman out. Just aim in the direction and press the action button (Right Ctrl key) aiming is determined by the direction you face via choice of arrow keys. Sliding: As the ball is struck by the batsman you as an outfielder can slide along the ground preventing the ball going past you, use the action button (Right Ctrl key) in any direction. Batting On the bowlers runup you control the batsman movement left and right to position your batsman in the best place to cover the wickets and allow for the best strike angle. Use the action button (Right Ctrl key) and any direction you choose via the arrow keys to select the batswing direction you wish to hit the ball, the timing of when to swing is crucial as the balls distance and height is determined by the early or late strike of the ball. To make a run press (Right Alt Key) and the batsman will make a run, if you wish to make any further runs then just hold down the button near the time the batsman reach each side, otherwise they will make just the single run. LBW's and Wide's These are awarded by the umpire at it's own discretion after careful consideration. Wide's are when the bowler bowls a ball and is deemed not close enough to the wickets for a fair ball, so the batsman is awarded a single run and the bowler must rebowl. LBW's in the eyes of the umpire is when a ball hits his body of the batsman that would of almost certainly smashed the wickets, the batsman if found guilty we be called out.
