Cullen for Australia

Offspinner Dan Cullen has been included in the one-day squad to tour Bangladesh in April. His is the only new name in the squad which recently lost to South Africa 3-2.

Mick Lewis misses out unsurprisingly, after his much-documented struggles in South Africa fell to the low point of 113 runs from his 10-over spell in the last ODI. The game saw South Africa chase a record total, and is the worst individual showing by a bowler in an ODI.

Chairman of selectors Trevor Hohns indicated the inclusion of Cullen is largely due to the expectation of good conditions for spinners in Bangladesh. Cullen has played 16 List-A one-day matches, in which he has taken 21 wickets at an average of 27.38 with an economy rate of 4.92.

The Test side is unchanged after a series win South Africa.
