Bracken in talks with Gloucs

Nathan Bracken, who has been offered a new contract with Cricket Australia (CA) but ignored for the Ashes squad, is in talks with English county Gloucestershire, to represent them during the second half of this county season.

Bracken believes that being in close proximity of the touring squad might result in him being drafted in for any unforeseen circumstances. As per current discussions with the county, he is likely to arrive in the country by the end of August, which would coincide with the last two Ashes Tests.

Bracken told The Australian, “Gloucestershire have spoken to me about playing, and they’re interested in having me over towards the end of the year which would suit me perfectly.”
