Bermuda stun Scotland

Bermuda have pulled of a sensational victory over Scotland by five wickets in the World Cricket League in Nairobi.

Scotland won the toss and chose to bat. After losing two fairly early wickets for 53, Watson (57) and Gavin Hamilton(58) produced a splendid 104 run partnership for the third wicket.

However, the breaking of the partnership sparked something of a collapse for Scotland, with only McCallum making a decent score with 45. Nevertheless, Scotland finished up with a more than competitive 268.

Bermuda got off to a shaky start, falling to 54-3, before Tucker and Hemp steadied the ship, taking the score to 118.

Romaine then came in and never looked back. Scotland got their 5th wicket with the score on 135 and seemed to be in control, but then Cann came in and put on the partnership of his life with Romaine.

It scarcely seemed believable, but the pair paced the innings beautifully from that moment on, and all of a sudden, they had guided Bermuda to a sensational victory with an over remaining.

Romaine was unbeaten on 85, while Cann was not out on an agonizing 49.
