Q: What was the shortest ever Test match?

A :In 1998, the West Indies had reduced England to 17 for three before the match was called off due to an unsafe pitch, after several batsmen had been hit, Alec Stewart severely enough to not be able to bat in the second innings.
Q: Which was the first cricketer to be knighted for his services to cricket?

A: Sir Pelham Francis "Plum" Warner was the first to be knighted for service to cricket, in 1937.
Q: What's the record for the most successive ODI man of the Match awards?

A: India's Sourav Ganguly holds this record, with four consecutive awards.
Q: Don Bradman was only stumped once in his First Class career - who was the wicket keeper?

A: India's PK Sen stumped Bradman as the touring Indians took on South Australia in October 1947.
Q: What's the record for centuries in successive Tests including debut?

A: India's Mohammed Azharuddhin scored a century on debut and in the two following Tests also.
Q: Has anyone ever taken 10 wickets in an innings on First Class debut?

A: Yes - Albert Moss took ten for 28 on debut for Canterbury vs Wellington in 1889. His story is a very interesting one - he only played in four First Class matches and, due to his alcoholism, his wife left him, taking with him the inscribed cricket ball presented to him after his first match. He sought solace in the Salvation Army and it was while working with them, helping alcoholics in South Africa 50 years later, that his ex-wife, having heard of his good works, tracked him down. She returned his prized cricket ball and, eventually, remarried him.
