Australia made it 3 - 0 today at Marrara Cricket Ground, Darwin

Australia 254 for 7 (Ponting 101, Bevan 57) beat Bangladesh 142 (Kapali 49; Harvey 4-16) by 112 runs

Ricky Ponting led from the front with his 14th one day international century to steer his boys to a 3 - 0 victory.

Ricky Ponting won the toss and elected to bat on what looked a nice pitch however was a little slow and low at times. Bangladesh bowled well and at one stage had Australia in trouble at 4 - 114. earlier Australia where 1 - 112 before loosing 3 wickets for 2 runs. Hayden, Martyn and Symonds where the culprit's for the quick collapse however Bevan and skipper ponting got Australia back on track with a magical partnership of 127 from as many balls. Martyn the star from the 2nd ODI only added 1 (5), Symonds was run out. Bevan out for 57 (57) was just himself and Ponting looked like he did in the World Cup Final. setting a good total of 254 Bangladesh where always going to be in trouble.

Gillespie bowled well with figures of 1 - 16 of his 10 overs. Harvey given the chance to prove himself took his opportunity with both hands taking 4 - 16 of 6.3 overs.

Bangladesh started of badly and kept loosing wickets until a lower order revival tried to get them back into the match however the Aussies where to over powering.

Alok Kapali 49 (64) was the only batsmen to show any signs of determination. he was well backed up by Sanwar Hossain 27 (52).
